Done List
If/when your PD gets that bad, do this...
My guess is you have PD this month. Here in the U.S., that’s the norm.
We have a bunch of meetings tomorrow (Friday, 2/13).
If they get bad (and they usually do) here’s what I want you to do:
write a done list.
What’s a done list? The opposite of a to-do list.
When that meeting gets so bad you’re looking for sharp objects, start listing the things you’ve already done that day (or week)
Let it flow.
Yes, brushing teeth counts. Write it down.
Yes, getting children dressed counts. Write it down.
Getting yourself dressed counts. Etc.
After a bit, pause and see how you feel.
Reply with “DONE” if you try it.
